Anthony J. Griswold, Ph.D., is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology and a member of the John P. Hussman Institute for Human Genomics (HIHG). He also serves as the Associate Director of the Center for Genome Technology at the HIHG. Dr. Griswold is a molecular geneticist whose primary interest is to utilize high throughput genomic technologies to better understand the underlying genetic etiologies of complex diseases. His research focuses on the use of these technologies and bioinformatics analyses to identify and characterize genetic variation contributing to a variety of human diseases including autism spectrum disorder and Alzheimer disease. He has significant experience in massively parallel sequencing analysis and bioinformatic approaches in large-scale human genetics projects.
