Jocelyn Bremekamp Odlum, M.A., CCC-SLP, is a speech pathologist in the Department of Otolaryngology. Jocelyn earned her Master’s degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Central Florida. During her training, she had the opportunity to do an externship at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Orlando where she gained valuable experience in rehabilitating patients with head and neck cancers. Upon graduating, she completed a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) at the Parkland Heath and Hospital System in Dallas. Parkland is a high-powered acute care facility that afforded Jocelyn outstanding practice in the management of acute-care patients; making quick decisions about feeding status and other issues to help progress patients along.

Jocelyn joined our team in 2010 and has developed an innovative program involving Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). This is the only program of its kind in South Florida and specializes in treating individuals with communication needs arising from disorders like Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). She takes great pride in assisting her patients with improving their communication and swallowing skills.
