Research Interests
Current research interests include surgical outcomes following microvascular reconstruction for head and neck cancer, outcomes following surgery for Zenker’s diverticulum, the use of Trans-oral Robotic Surgery (TORS) in the head and neck, and post-traumatic stress disorder in patients with head and neck cancer.

Biography
Dr. Leibowitz is board certified in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. He joined the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery’s faculty in 2010 as a Clinical Instructor. During that time he completed 2 one-year fellowships, one focusing on surgery for cancer of the head and neck, and the other on microvascular reconstruction of the head and neck. In 2012, he was promoted to Assistant Professor.
